My brother Mtch didn't care that we were moving. He was only three and he was not leaving his best friend.

Our new apartment was small. Me and Mitch had to share a room.

Kurtis was very sad. When Kurtis was little, his mom would give him a lollipop to make him feel better. She asked Kurtis what would make him happy now. He said a dog. He promised to take care of it even on the weekend when he went to his dad's house.

That Saturday, they went to the animal shelter. Mom said "a small dog." We looked around. I saw a small black furry dog. He licked me right away. Mom said it was because I smelled like the bacon I had for breakfast. I knew right away I would name him Sammy after my best friend who moved away. We took him home. Mom would only feed hime twice a day. He always seemed hungry.

Mom was making supper. She had hamburg up on the counter. Sammy started to eat it. Mom tried to grab it away from him. Sammy bit my mom. Mom was very upset. She wanted to get rid of Sammy. I begged and promised he would never do it again. She gave in and let him stay.

Dad's new apartment had a no pet policy but I wanted Dad to see Sammy so I stuck him in my duffel bag to sneak him in to visit Dad.

I rate this book an8. You will have to read it to find out about his visit to Dad's house, and if Kurtis gets to keep Sammy or not. This is not a true story.

In my book (The Field of the Dogs) Josh moved to Vermont with his mom after having a baby and meeting a man named Greg. Josh has to put up with bullies and keep a secret between him and Manch's friends Honey, Ace, and Wicker. Plus, the four dogs have bullies of their own.

Satch and Me is a really good book about the Negro Leagues in the early 1940's. The stories characters set off back in time to find out who really was the worlds fastest pitcher, they get mixed up in all sorts of trouble along the way.

I read a book called Zia. It is from the famous author Scott O'Dell. As you all know, he wrote Island of the Blue Dolphins, which leads in to Zia.

Zia is about a young girl named Zia. Zia knows about her aunt, Karana, from her mother. (Her mother was Ulope.) So, Zia decides to go out into the ocean with her brother Mando, to find Karana, in a washed up boat they found in a storm.

So, if you like adventure, then you would definitely like the book Zia.

I, Freddy is a book about a hamster who wants to get out of his cage at the pet shop. Freddy's grandma tells him of a land called Saga. It is a place where all golden hamsters go. And then, a little girl came and bought Freddy.

The book that I am reading is called Hide-and-Sneak. It is about 3 boys trying to find a McGuffin, which is a lump of metal. They are trying to find it because, if they find it, they have to hide it from the girls that are also trying to find it. They are doing it because it is part of the movie they are making.

This is my favorite scene in the book. It is a picture of Joe Hardy seeing a guy floating in the water while talking to the water cops. The guy owns a yacht called the Jolly Roger. He threw the anchor and went for a swim but somebody cut the anchor rope and the yacht floated away. I will not tell you any more because you should read the book. This book is a mystery.

Setting -- The story takes place at the Holocaust Center in Tokyo, Japan, and also in Czechoslovakia where Hana and George Live.

Main Character -- The main character is Hana. She is a Jewish girl, lduring World War 11 when it was a very hard time for Jewish people. Hana likes to draw and she likes school, although she wasn't allowed to go because she was Jewish.

Geirge Brady is Hana's brother and she also has an Uncle Ludvick who took her in his home. Also, Fumiko Ishioca is the woman who worked at the Holocause Center. She is the one who received the suitcase at her museum.

Problems --
1. Jewish people were not allowed to leave their houses during the war because Hiotler and the Nazis would kill or torture them because they didn't like Jewish people. The story is mostly about a Jewish girl's life during the war. Hana's parents were taken away from her so she had to stay with her Uncle Ludvick who was Catholic. Sad things happened like one day Hana's friend wanted to play with her but her friend's mom wouldn't let he because she didn't want to associate with Jewish people or else they would get in trouble, too.

2. Fumiko found a suitcase that belonged to Hana Brady and she spent a lot of time trying to find her. She goes to different countries to try to figure it out.

This book is written by Brian jacques and is a great book! It is a fictional book, where animals are just like humans. It is about a mouse called Martin the Warrior. He gets put in a dungeon by an evil cat called Tsarmina. But soon he escapes with help from a mouse called Gonff the Mouse Thief, who is also in the dungeon. Martin meets a group of woodlanders who have escaped into the woods Mossflower to hide from Tsarmina. Tsarmina is furious abut Martin and Gonff escaping. So she goes to war with the woodlanders. She was surprised that they were skilled with bows and slings.

Martin, Gonff, and a mole called Dinny go on a quest to the mountain Salmandastron. Along the way they run into a shrew called Log-a-log who becomes their friend, a clan of bats who save their lives, evil toads, a giant eel, and an evil salamander and a grass snake.

Leaping Beauty was one of the best books I ever read!

There are eight books in Leaping Beauty. It was great. I highly recommend it. It was very funny. I liked everything in the book.

At the end of "So What and the Seven Giraffes," So What's new name was Slap Me Silly. Anyone who walked up to him and said "What's your name?," he would say, "Slap Me Silly." They would slap him silly and his head would go bobbing. People would think that's funny but I would be smoking mad.

Igneous Rocks by Melissa Stewart

This is the best book in the world!! The name of the book is Igneous Rocks. My favorite part was when it told about the igneous rock and how it was made and what it is made out of. Igneous rocks are made of lava and it showed a picture of a volcano spitting lava out of it. I thought it was cool seeing the lava and looking at the igneous rocks.

I started The Wide Window. The orphans are getting a new guardian. I think the orphans will meet Count Olaf again and get even more miserable. I think the orphans feel bad about moving all the time. I know I wouldn't like doing that.

My book is Modern Sports Cars. I love fast cars. My favorite cars are Lamborghini Countach, Ferrari F40, Chevrolet Corvette, and last is the GT Charger. The book is good. It tells you the speed of cars. The book has pictures.

The best book I ever read was 97 Ways to Train a Dragon by Kate McMullan. It's really funny and interesting. The characters were funny and weird. The pictures are also really strange.

The book I read is called Seal Team. It is about what they do, how they train, what they use and their different weapons. I think it is a very cool and awesome book. Seal stands for sea, land, air. The Seals team is also called Navy Seal.

The book I read was Geckos. I learned that geckos can stick to trees.

Imagine if you lived in a place where bugs, rats, and bats were all much bigger than a full-grown human. The bugs, bats, and humans were all allies and the rats were their enemies.
